Who we are
Elasticdump.com is an independent informational website about Elasticdump, the open-source import and export tool for Elasticsearch and OpenSearch. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit and how we use it.
Information we collect
We do not ask you to create an account. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store the email address you provide. Like most websites, our server and analytics tools may record technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited and the time of your visit.
Cookies and advertising
We use cookies for basic site functions and, where enabled, for analytics and advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google’s Ads Settings. See our Cookie Policy for details.
How we use information
We use the data to run and improve the site, understand which guides are useful, send newsletters you asked for, and keep the site secure. We do not sell personal information.
Third-party links
Our download buttons link to GitHub, npm and Docker Hub. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your data.
Data retention
Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs and analytics data are kept only as long as needed for the purposes above.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to object to its processing. Contact us using the details on our Contact page and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This site is intended for developers and system administrators and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
